It didn't take much poll analysis to figure out my action writing is popular, and so is the idea of a Smash fan fic. So let's combine the two together (sort of). Sooo...since it's been a while since I did anything that was 100% open to EVERYONE, check it out!

What's it about?

SSB: DD is a SSB: Brawl-based fan-fiction writing that will involve anyone on DeviantArt that wants to join, commentated by the OCs behind myself and .

The general jist will be just like a Brawl tournament with two players per match, one stock -- winner advances to the next round, loser is out.



Who can join?

Everyone and anyone! No entrant too serious or zany, too fictional or real, too short or tall! Even if you've never visited my page before! Come one, come all. Everyone reading this, please tell anyone you know on DA who might be interested!



What does Pyro need from you?

There may be a maximum of two entrants per DeviantArt account. Doesn't mean you have to enter two, but the option is there. I will need several things from you, per entrant! Look below for details!

Note me the following for entry into the fan fic:
-A short description of your entrant. Where does he or she hail from, how old, etc. I require a picture reference, showing your character's face!
-Intro. Every Smash Brother has a unique entrance when they enter the fray!
-The character's basic fighting style. This will determine the standard attack (A button) moves. A few examples would be a boxing style, a kicking style, or a karate-style.
-All four "B" (Special) attacks. Remember that the Up-B is almost always a jump of some sort!
-Taunts. Your character can have up to three signature taunts!
-Final Smash. One final smash! Be creative!
-Lastly, I require a short graph of your character's attributes, as follows:

Weight (How heavy or light?)
Power (How much damage will your character's attacks deal?)
Speed (How fast or slow?)
Jumping (How well can your character recover after being knocked away?)

Each category must be rated anywhere from 1 (Poor) to 5 (Excellent). But hold on there! So we don't get any Mary-Sues in here, you may only use up to a total of twelve (12) points to attribute to your character. For example:

Weight **
Power ****
Speed ***
Jumping ***

As you can see, the total stars equal 12. This doesn't mean you have to use all 12 points, but that is the max! This ensures everyone is on an equal playing field.

Got all that? Then you're ready to enter!



PHEW! Now that that is out of the way, here's some other information for you!

-Who you are paired up with to fight, whoever wins and loses, whether or not the match is one-sided or even, and whatever else happens is completely random. It will all be decided randomly!

-Not everyone will win, not everyone will use their final smash, not everyone will make a miraculous recovery. There has to be some give-and-take, guys -- don't be angry if one or both of your characters are eliminated in the first round without much show, it is the luck of the draw! Again, everything is random, and all I will be doing is writing the fight scenes!

-If you have stage ideas, note them to me, and I may use them!

-If anyone has questions, feel free to ask!
